Jean M. (Coffin) Madan, age 60, passed away on October 5, 2025 at her residence in Mansfield. She was the dear wife to Michael Madan with whom she shared 17 years of marriage. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Jeanne M. (DiAngelo) and Harold R. Coffin, and was raised and educated in West Roxbury, attending St. Clare in Roslindale. She received a certificate in Nursing through Massasoit Community College, and worked as a nurse’s assistant after college. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and pets and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband Mike, Jean is survived by her sons Christopher R. Coffin of Bridgewater, and Shawn Madan and his wife Rebecca of Plymouth. She is survived by her sisters Chrisie A. Coffin of Acton and Robin M. Chichester and her husband Kirk of Bridgewater. She also leaves behind her nephews Tyler Halkett and his wife Hannah, Daniel Halkett and Kathleen Medeiros and her husband Brandon, as well as several grand nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the MSPCA-Angell at https://support.mspca.org/.
