Jean Price, 89, of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025. She was the daughter of the late John and Jeannette Lindon. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, she lived most of her life in Central Florida and vacationed for years in Brevard, NC before settling in the area with her husband and mother in 2017.
Jean was very musical; she was a wonderful pianist, sang, and wrote songs when she was young. She appreciated beauty in nature and loved animals, riding horses in her youth and caring for a pet squirrel and numerous dogs and cats over the years. She practiced a deep Christian faith and was deeply involved in church activities.
Jean was the widow of William “Bill” R. Price after a marriage of 68 years. She is survived by her children, Teri L. Teague (Michael) and Dale W. Price (Denise); 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Jean Price will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Enon Baptist Church.
