Jean C. Shustack, age 92, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
Born in Carney's Point, NJ on October 25, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Sarah (Parker) Olsen of Pennsville, NJ.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Thomas S. Shustack, and sons, Steven and Thomas, both of New Castle, two granddaughters, and a great-grandson.
Jean dedicated her life to her family as a talented homemaker. In her spare time, Jean enjoyed doing arts and crafts and going out to eat. A friend to the community, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Jean will always be remembered for her kindness and compassion towards others.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or online by clicking here.
