Jean Elaine Stuart, age 67 of Addison, NY passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at home. She was born on October 31, 1956 in Corning, NY to Frederick and Rose (Trusieivtz) Stuart. Jean was a 1974 graduate of Addison High School.
Jean will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her kind-hearted nature, even though she was often reserved in public. She would do whatever it took to help others, and for those she held dear.
Her greatest love and joy in life came from her nieces and nephews. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and loved her NY Yankees. She would root for the NY Giants, even if they often disappointed her. One of her favorite pastimes was traveling around the area to play Bingo. While not known for her cooking skills, she made a great pot of chili.
Jean is survived by her brother: Richard (Debra Howell) Stuart; nieces and nephews: Carla Mason, Sean (Michelle Dee) Akerelrea; Aidan Green, Noah Green, Langden Green, Keira Green, Patrick Akerelrea, Kathryn Akerelrea.
In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her sister Kathy Akerelrea.
The family will hold a private graveside service in Townline Cemetery at a later date. Flint Funeral Home in Addison has been entrusted with her final arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name may be sent to your local SPCA.
