Jean was born April 5th, 1960, in Richland Center, WI; the daughter of John F. and Pauline L. (Zeller) Welsh. She attended Richland Center High School and later graduated with her GED. Jean was a loving caregiver to her parents and cheerful village clerk of Boaz for many years. She loved watching the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and all other sports. She was a talented artist that crafted and painted many home and holiday decorations. Jean will be remembered by her friends and family for her unending kindness, generosity, and countless memories of laughter.
Jean brightened many lives and will be sorely missed. She is survived by her brother, Ed (Joanne) Welsh of Richland Center, WI; three nephews, Justin (Lauren) Welsh of Rochester MN, Jason (Rose) Welsh of Richland Center WI, Corey (Michelle) Schmidt of Stitzer, WI, niece Michele (Jim) Russell of Phoenix AZ, cousin Margaret Steel as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, in addition to countless friends and neighbors.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents John and Pauline Welsh.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 – 4pm on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at the Boaz Community Building. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
