Jeanette Jo Engelkes was born April 8, 1969, in Madison, SD, to Joe and Beverly (Hines) Engelkes. Jeanette worked different jobs throughout her life. She worked at Rosebud Manufacturing in Madison, Larson Manufacturing in Brookings, SD, and Global Polymer Industries in Madison. Jeanette had two children and was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed seeing and talking to her kids and grandkids.
Jeanette is survived by one son, Johnny (Alex) Jungen of Darfur, MN, and one daughter Alison Jungen of Colman. Two brothers Joseph (Peggy) Engelkes of Chester, Jim Engelkes of Colman, and one sister Susie (John) Dold of Chester. Three grandchildren Vayden Jungen, Waylon Jungen, and Lakota Jungen.
