Mrs. Jeanette Wiley Kinzey, age 85, of Clermont, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Memorial Park Riverside Chapel with interment to follow at New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate.
Jeanette was born December 4, 1938 in Hall County Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents Hamp and Hattie Mae Hamilton Wiley. She graduated in 1956 from River Bend High School.
Jeanette was married to the late Wilburn Louis Kinzey. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lewis Kinzey and her brother, Alton Wiley.
She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Smiley (Bert) of Dahlonega, Georgia and Joan Gilleland (Ron) of Dawsonville, Georgia; four grandchildren, Brittany Kinzey, of Gainesville; Kyle Kinzey also of Gainesville; Alyson Cormick of Highpoint, North Carolina; and Hydee Durden of Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Kinzey and Mavis Cormick; special friend Ruth Grant and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hall County Humane Society, 845 W. Ridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30501.
