Jeanette M. Knauff

Jeanette M. Knauff, 89, of Libertyville, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025.
She was a dedicated mother to Cynthia (late William) Cochran and Michael (Patrice) Knauff. Her joy was multiplied as a proud grandmother to Erin (Molly) Kacey, Eileen Knauff, Elliott Knauff, Annie Cochran, and Michael Cochran, and as a doting great-grandmother to Rian Kacey. She was also a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death to her husband of 60 years, George Knauff; her parents Jerry and Josephine Acerrano and her siblings Mary Anne Fontana, Joe Acerrano, Tony Acerrano and Jerry Acerrano.
Jeanette's life was a testament to her two greatest passions: her family and her faith. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Church, a volunteer at St. Joseph School, and also a trusted local realtor. She was known for her love of reading and her exceptional skill in the kitchen, especially her traditional Italian dishes. Her warmth, grace, and loving spirit will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Nov 11th from 9:30-10:30 AM at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville, IL 60048, where we will proceed to St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Avenue, Libertyville, IL for a 11:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s would be greatly appreciated.
