Jeanette Kressler Obituary
Jeanette M. (Rau) Kressler, 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 27, 2024. She was the widow of Carl R. Kressler with whom she shared many loving years, until his passing. Born on June 5, 1935, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Grace (Leith) Rau.
Jeanette worked as a Production Technician for Day Timers for many years until she retired. She was a member of the Allentown Senior Center. Jeanette enjoyed doing word searches, playing cards, playing rounds of bingo, and taking trips to the casino. Above all, Jeanette cherished her time with her family, creating precious memories that will now be held dear in the hearts of those who loved her. Her face would always light up when there were babies around.
Jeanette will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carol DeSautels and her husband Albert of Lynchburg, VA, Robert Kressler and his wife Linda of Bethlehem, and Shirlene Jo Clemmer and her husband Clayton of Center Valley; grandchildren, Trina, Shane, Ashley, Robert Jr., Jimmy, Sydney, Debra, Taylor, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Cadin, Caleb, Natalie, Braylan, Makenna, Xander, Elora, Braxton, Skylar, Alice, Cheyenne, and Robert III; brother, George Rau and his wife Jean of Bethlehem; sister, Gloria Kissel of Allentown; feline companion, Sylvester. She was preceded in death by her siblings Donald, Edgar, Richard, Pearl, Katheryn, Ruth, John, and Evelyn.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem PA 18018. A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Lower Saucon Church Cemetery. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Jeanette's memory to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, 640 Dixon St, Allentown, PA 18103.
