Jeanette Pendergraft Obituary

Jeanette "Jeannie" Pendergraft of Marshfield, Missouri went home to be with Jesus on August 20, 2025. She was born in Ogden, Utah on January 22, 1951.

She is survived by her husband Bill Pendergraft, of the home; sister Toni Winch and husband Gene of Marshfield, MO, sister Susie Lemons and husband Johnnie of Hartville, MO; sister-in-law Carolyn Jensen of Diggins, MO, sister-in-law Shirley Jensen of Ozark, MO; and many nieces and nephews who call her their "favorite aunt".

Jeannie was preceded in death by her father Garth Hale Jensen, her mother Emma Hart Beddoes; three brothers: Garth Hart Jensen, Stephen Lee Jensen, and Gary H. Jensen; two sisters: Raye Eilander and Catherine "Kitty" Caudle.

Jeannie loves Jesus. She gave her life to him at an early age and he is her Savior. She has been baptized in water and the Holy Spirit. She loved serving God in many ways.

First and foremost, Jeannie loved her husband, Bill. Married on February 24, 1969. Bill was her childhood sweetheart and she has been praying and lovingly caring for him for over 56 years. Together they have fulfilled a calling of the Lord to lead many people to salvation through Jesus Christ. They have helped family, friends, and strangers alike in any way possible sacrificing their home, finances, time and energy to complete what God asked them to do.

Jeannie loves her family too, having many gatherings at her home with enough food to feed an army….. with dessert too! She loved playing games with lots of laughter around the dining room table. Her and Bill opened their home to many family members on both sides to help in so many ways under the father's direction. Jeannie and Bill hosted a foreign exchange student, Tanja Abrahamsen in their home, and was Tanja's bridesmaid and God Mother to her two sons Daniel and David. Surely, she will have many rewards in Heaven because even in her passing she's cared for those of us that remain! Instilling love, compassion, forgiveness and patience to anyone who would sit and visit with her. All the while being a "Fierce" prayer warrior who keeps her eyes focused on the Father and his will. What an amazing person to celebrate!

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Seymour Masonic Cemetery, Seymour, Missouri with Gary Johns officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta, Missouri.
