Jeanette Anita Sansoucy, 98, of Lewiston died peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. She was born in Lewiston on March 5, 1925, the daughter of Edouard and Bernadette Richard. She attended local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School. On May 9, 1944, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Romeo "Minno" Sansoucy. They were married for 69 years. Jeanette loved music, line dancing and frequent trips to their cottage at Old Orchard Beach.
She is survived by her two children, Dan and wife Nancy of Florida and Jeannie and husband Gary of Florida. Four grandchildren, Dan Sansoucy II of Auburn, Michelle and husband Brian Gagnon of Auburn, John Weber and wife Alyssa of Westford, MA, Melissa and husband Tim Hebert of Yarmouth, ME, seven great grandchildren, Matthew and Emma Gagnon, Sophia Sansoucy, Evie and Mia Weber, Jack and Sawyer Hebert.
A special thank you to Kathleen McKinnon, Michelle Vachon and Ray Albert who were there for her for many years.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Romeo in 2013 and one sister Lucille Johnson. A private service will be held at a later date.
