Jeanette H. Young, age 93, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born on August 1, 1932, in Chapmansboro, Tennessee, to the late Dewey Herron and Virginia (Jennette) Herron. She graduated from Ashland City High School. She was a devoted member of Franklin Community Church. Jeanette worked at First American National Bank for 38 years as a private banking officer. She loved golfing and going to the beach with her sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Virginia Herron; husband, Jimmy McNabb; brothers, Carl, Wendell, and Glenn Herron; and sisters, Marjorie Noel, Bonnie Ervin, and Mary Boyte. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Angie Lee-Fults (John); sister, Carolyn Dwyer (Danny); grandchildren, Amanda Lee (Trevor Whorton) and Ashley Tune (Chad); and great grandchildren, Charlie Tune and Tomi Lee Tune. The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caregivers Lisa Adams, Marcie Perry, and Whitney Murphy, as well as Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, for their care of Jeanette. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Danny Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 10am until the service hour of 12noon. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Boyte, James Bates, Kerry Boyte, Blake Bradley, Tim Forsythe, Nathan Freeman, and Brad Suiter. Honorary pallbearer will be Jesse Wayne Boyte. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nashville Rescue Mission. Cheatham County Funeral Home LLC 615-792-2552 online condolences may be made at cheathamcountyfh.com.
