Jeanine was born October 12, 1968 in Pittsburg, Kansas, a daughter of Gene and Mary (Allen) Walker.
She was a graduate of Frontenac High School and received her associates degree from Fort Scott Community College.
On October 18, 1997, Jeanine was united in marriage to Michael Schettler at Miami, Oklahoma, who survives of the home.
She was employed for 13 years as a care giver for Class LTD. She previously worked in nursing homes as well as providing in home care for the elderly.
Jeanine loved her family: her two grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She also enjoyed baking and crocheting.
Survivors in addition to her husband are three daughters: Nicolette Towne, Michaela Schettler, Hailey Schettler, and one brother: Jeff Walker, all of Girard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lisa Walker.
Arrangements are through the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Girard.
A private service will take place.
