Jeanne Sanson, 78, of Mount Vernon, IL, passed away at1:12 p.m. September 19, 2025 at SSM Good Samaritan in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was born May 29, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Dwight "Gene" House and Betty Ann (Smith) House.

Jeanne is survived by her Sister, Gloria (Gene) Tincher of Marion, Il; Nephews, Corey Tincher and Kirsten Sopher, and Carl (Melissa) Mullinax; Great Nephews, Oliver Mullinax, and Quinten Mullinax; Great Niece, Fern Grace Sopher-Tincher.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Dwight "Gene" House and Betty Ann Smith.

She loved quilting and displaying the beautiful quilts made. She many years at Springfield Memorial Hospital as a proud Lab Technician.

A Visitation will be held, Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IL. A Funeral Service will be held, Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, IL, with Reverend Steve Glenn officiating. Interment will follow. Memorials may be made in Jeanne's honor to donors choice.
