Jeanne M. Sutherland, age 78, formerly of Ossining, NY, died Saturday, June 21, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Margaret Sutherland, born on November 13, 1946 in Ossining, NY.

Jeanne graduated from Ossining High School in 1964 and completed a two-year bilingual and diplomatic secretarial program at the Latin American Institute in 1966.

Jeanne served as an executive assistant for major corporations, including Home Box Office and Anderson Consulting, where she provided essential administrative support throughout her distinguished career.

Jeanne lived life with great curiosity, exploring the world through extensive travel destinations across multiple continents. She was equally passionate about genealogy, spending years meticulously researching family trees and preserving family histories for future generations. She served as Senior Vice President and Past President of the Westchester County Genealogical Society.

She had a passion for the finer things in life, particularly fine dining and opera, which brought her great joy throughout the years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Rodney Taylor.

Jeanne is survived by her husband's children; Deborah T. Crew (Dave) of Leesburg, VA; Bruce R. Taylor of Arlington, VA; two nieces, Tracy McBride (John) of Yorktown Heights, NY; Sharon Sutherland-Krause (Richard) of Cortlandt Manor, NY; and a nephew, Robert Sutherland (Arnold) of Rego Park, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Society. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29,2025 from 12:00-3:00 PM at the Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at 12:00 PM Monday, June 30,2025 at Dale Cemetery, Ossining, NY.
