Jeannette Rae "Nettie" Dunn, 65, of North Vernon, passed away at 1:38 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at St.Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon Indiana.

Born December 11, 1959 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Art and Phyllis Poehler. She married Gregory Dunn on August 21, 1982, in Indianapolis; he survives.

Nettie worked for Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis, Jay C Food Stores and retired after 15 years from Lowes Distribution. She was a member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witness in North Vernon. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and listening to music.

Surviving with her husband, Gregory, are her daughters, Jennifer McKinney (Chad), Stephanie Romanchek (Patrick), her sisters, Cindy Levi, Neasie Bonar (Chris) and Reenie Smeltzer (Mark).

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Art Poehler, and sisters Pam Dant, Marcia Lowe, and Karin Carter-Binegar.

In keeping with her and her family's wishes cremation is planned with no service at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home in honor of Nettie to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
