Jeannine was a teacher and a 4H leader. She and her husband owned and operated Whitehead Baling Services and Whitehead Carriages. She was a member of Llano Estacado Driving Society. Jeannine raised her family around rodeos. She was a member of Morton Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; two sons, Jesse Don Whitehead and Jimmy Lee Whitehead; a daughter, Debbie Thomas; her parents; and a brother, Lewis Foster.
Jeannine is survived by her daughter, Joann Davis of Morton, Texas; a brother, J.D. Foster and his wife, Tana of Springdale, Arizona; her eight grandchildren; her twenty great-grandchildren; and her nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Morton Methodist Church, 419 West Taylor, Morton, Texas, 79346 or Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois, 60601.
