Jeff E. Helm

Jeff E. Helm 69, of Sacramento, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at his home in Sacramento. Jeff Evans Helm was born February 26, 1953 in Sacramento, Kentucky to the late Layman Layton and America Lee Hampton Helm. Jeff retired from Ahlstrom in Madisonville and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, grilling out, traveling and watching horse races. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a brother, Laymon Helm, Jr. and by two sisters, Betty Thomas and Rosemary Copeland.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Henrietta Stewart; three daughters, Tamika Helm of Richmond, Kentucky, Felicia Helm Simpson (Kevin) of Danville, Virginia and Dezarae Agyapong (Frank) of Sacramento; seven grandchildren, Kendra Helm, Trinity Stills, Dnyijarae Finch, Dzyireae Helm, Kingstin Helm, Skhyler Agyapong, and Rico Stewart; a brother, Robert Helm (Pavlon Everett) of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Brenda Clyburn (Joe) of Detroit and Mary Pendleton (Larry) of Sacramento; a sister-in-law, Teresa Helm of Evansville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Saturday at Sacramento United Methodist Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Terrance Minor and Kevin Brantley officiating. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the funeral arrangements for Jeff's family.
