Jeff Holland

Mr. Morris Jeffery "Jeff" Holland, 62, of Pace, Florida, formerly of Andalusia, transitioned from this earthly world to his Heavenly home December 25, 2023. Jeff was born September 13, 1961 to Morris Holland and Sara Norris Nadeau. Throughout his 62 years on this earth, Jeff held many titles. Those included that of Lieutenant at Andalusia Fire Department, Chief of River Falls and Libertyville Volunteer Fire Departments, Chief of River Falls and McKenzie Police Departments, owner of Fireman's BBQ (along side cofounders Willie Tarey and Russell McGlamory) and most important to him, husband, daddy, and his most prized title of PawPaw. Jeff was born with the heart of a servant. His desire to help others was never wasted or unnoticed. He worked along side many outstanding people, whom he considered family) at a multitude of Police, Fire, EMS, and Safety agencies.
As much as Jeff loved to help and serve others, he reveled in the glory of sharing his life with his friends and family. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Jennifer Holland of Pace, Florida; his son, Brandon (Alana) Holland of Opp, Alabama; his daughters, Ashley Holland (Heath) Hendrix of Andalusia, Wendy Hardage (Cody) Dixon of Milton, Florida, and Savannah Hardage (Zack Douglas) of Pace, Florida; and his most prized possessions, his four precious grandchildren, Ansley Holland, Maggie Holland, Greyson Weber, and Walker Dixon. He also leaves behind a sister, Reba Gant; a nephew, Kevin Hall; brother in love, Paul Stacks; Paul's children, Marcus (Jessica) and Lorrie Stacks; and grandchildren Hunter Stacks, Turner Stacks, and Kaylee Armstrong. And a sister in love Donna Stacks Bass. Jeff leaves behind many cherished friends and family members whom he dearly loved, including his beloved LEO and fire brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sara Norris Nadeau, Morris Holland and Eva Rathel; a brother, Kenny Holland; his grandparents, Daniel Destin and Clara Mitchell Norris and John Ausban and Inez (Holloway) Holland.
Jeff touched and changed more lives than any of us will ever be able to fathom. In light of that, a legacy remains that will never be forgotten. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Foreman Funeral Home of Andalusia, Alabama. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Thursday, December 28, 2023 in the chapel at Foreman Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 29, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Andalusia with burial to follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Derwood Cleland will be officiating.
