Charles Jeffery “Jeff” Peeler, age 62, of Delview Road, was reunited with his wife, Angela, Friday evening, March 28, 2025. He was born April 18, 1962, in Catawba County to Myrtle Brown Simmons, and the late Roger Dale Simmons.
Jeff was a graduate of Cherryville High School class of 1980. He recently retired from Keystone Powdered Metal Company. Jeff was such a family man. He enjoyed family vacations in the mountains or at the beach. One of his favorite things to do was to ride his side-by-side or 4-wheeler with his family and his grandchildren. He also loved to work with his German Shepherd, Gunner.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Angela Lee Cook Peeler; his sons, Casey Dale Peeler, and Jason Peeler.
Survivors include his mother, Myrtle Simmons; children, Amber Donaldson (Lance), and Josh Peeler (Nicole); brother, Drake Simmons; sisters, Dana Simmons Auton (Clarence), and Kesha Simmons Elmore (Kenny); grandchildren, Aiden Peeler, Bentley and Adalynn Donaldson, and Kenai Peeler, and one grandson on the way. He is also survived by one great-grandson, Enzo Peeler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 PM at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Mike Whisnant, Mr. Drake Simmons, and Mrs. Robin Short officiating.
Memorials may be made to either St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
