Jeff E. Urban

Jeff E. Urban, age 52, of Detroit, Michigan and formerly of Tomah, WI, passed away March 14, 2022, after a short illness. He was born December 17, 1969, in Neenah, WI and was raised in Tomah. Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Tomah High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in business technology from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Like many of us, he did take a few fun detours along the way.
Jeff first worked professionally in Madison, WI where he was part of the technology team setting up the CCAP court system online, and then for technology positions and his own IT consulting career in Minneapolis, MN, before accepting a job with Little Caesars in 2017 as a computer programmer at their headquarters in Detroit, MI. In his last team project, he was most proud of the Little Caesars smart phone app that was launched as a cutting edge delivery system with a Super Bowl ad worldwide. Though work was his passion, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing in his spare time. It would be hard to find a better true friend or tavern pool partner than Jeff.
He is survived by his parents, Darryl and Bonnie Urban of Tomah, WI, his brother, Jay (Catherine Ann Jordan) Urban of Milwaukee, WI, nieces, Bryn and Piper, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. We will all miss his quick wit and wry world view, and his independent spirit.
