Jeffery Marsh Anderson, age 72, of Buhl, AL, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Circlewood Baptist Church with Bro. Herb Thomas officiating and burial to follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer M. "Curveball" Anderson and Frances Ray Anderson; and nephew, Michael R. Anderson Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Pearson Anderson of Buhl, AL; brother, Michael R. Anderson Sr. (Sandra) of Cottondale, AL; niece, Lisa Anderson Daily of Tuscaloosa, AL; four great-nieces, two great-nephews, four great-great nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Jeff was born in Tuscaloosa, attended Tuscaloosa City Schools, and graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1972. Following high school, Jeff became a certified welder and later traveled the southeast as a construction field engineer. He trained in martial arts and became a certified scuba diver. He was a passionate hunter and firearms enthusiast.
Jeff loved his church, Circlewood Baptist, his church family, his pastor, and especially the wonderful, supportive men in his Sunday School Class. Jeff and Brenda rekindled their childhood romance three years ago, marrying shortly after. They were definitely the love of one another's lives and were blissfully happy until the end. There is no doubt it was God's plan to bring them back together.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Jeff's hunting buddy and close friend, Billy Wayne Gray and his precious wife Barbara.
Pallbearers are Larry McDonald, Jerry Jones, Wayne Gray, Morris Thrasher, Mickle Hoggle, and Eddie Hawthorne.
Honorary pallbearers are Ken Lee, Mike Hulsey, Tommy Mosley, Robby Delbridge III, and member s of Circlewood's Fishers of Men Sunday School Class.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jeff's favorite charity, Wounded Warrior Project or the Circlewood Baptist Benevolent Fund. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Jeffery, please visit our floral store.
