Jeffery Heavener Sr. Obituary
Jeffery "Big Jeff" Heavener Sr., 65, of Gastonia passed away on May 7, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby. He was born on March 15, 1957 to the late Reginald Heavener and Dorothy Clayton Heavener. Jeff was very social and a friend to all he met. He ejoyed a good cigar, older model cars and trucks, loved his Harley, and visiting the mountains. But most of all, he loved his grandbabies.
Survivors include his dauther, Brandy Heavener (Adam); son, Jeffery Heavener Jr. (Sheila); two sisters; one brother; five grandchildren, Kyndal, Kaiden, Maci, Kash, and Kruz; and the love of his life, his ex wife, Lissa Heavener.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut St. Gastonia, NC 28054, with Rev. Mike Criswell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
