Jeffery Johnson

Jeffery J. Johnson Sr. was born April 26, 1957, to Eulamae Carter and Alton J. Johnson in Lafayette, Louisiana. After fighting a great battle, Jeffery made his transition on January 16, 2024. Jeff aka Black will be greatly missed and always remembered by great memories. Jeffery enjoyed having a great time with family and playing cards with friends. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his granddaughter. Jeffery was a jokester and loved to laugh.
Jeffery is survived by his two sisters: Kathleen Cooper(Willie Cooper) and Adele Johnson; one brother: David Carter, all of Lafayette, La.; one granddaughter: Jamya Johnson of Lafayette, La.; three stepsons: O'Terrell Boutte, Francis Boutte, and Trustin of Lafayette, La. and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his mother and father: Eulamae Mable Johnson and Alton Johnson; his son: Jeffery J. Johnson Jr.; one sister: Lorena Hopkins; one nephew: Keith Hopkins; one niece: Devona Living, and nine aunts and uncles.
