Jeffrey J. Aurentz, 83, of Myerstown, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
He was the husband of M. Colette (Sant) Aurentz with whom he celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Born in Lebanon on August 8, 1941, he was a son of the late Herman and Claire I. (Sherman) Aurentz.
Jeffrey was a 1959 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Lebanon and their Pine Acres crew. He was employed by Commonwealth National Bank as a Manager of Computer Operations and worked on Maintenance staff at Ft. Indiantown Gap.
In addition to his wife, Jeffrey is survived by a daughter, Sheila M., wife of Michael Fasig, of Mount Joy; two sons Vincent E. Aurentz husband of Stephanie, of Chapel Hill, NC and David J. Aurentz husband of Kate, of Wyomissing; seven grandchildren: Matthew and Emily Fasig, Megan, Brooke and Sam Aurentz, Nole and Clayton Aurentz; niece, Melody Gable, Brothers-In-Law, David Strasz (Judy) and Joseph C. Sant (Eileen Morrissey). He was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Whorley and two brothers, Vincent and William; and two Sisters-in-Law, Sara Jane Sant and Judy (Sant) Strasz.
A graveside service will be held at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 235 Maple Street, Lebanon, Pa 17046 at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Mark's United Church of Christ, 426 North 8th Street, Lebanon PA 17046.
