Jeffrey Dale Bittner

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Dale Bittner, who left this world on November 18, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on April 23, 1966, Jeffrey was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and light to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

As a proud U.S. Army veteran, Jeffrey served his country with honor, and later brought that same commitment to his work at CSX. 

Jeffrey was the life of the party, a person who had a remarkable ability to light up any room he entered. He had a passion for motorcycles, with a special love for Harley-Davidsons. Riding brought him immense joy, and it was a source of freedom and adventure that he cherished. 

We encourage all who knew him to remember the laughter, the stories, and the unforgettable moments spent in his company. 

A devoted brother, he is deeply mourned by; his sister, Julie Bittner; brother, Jarold Bittner and wife Lorraine; his nieces and nephews, Jennie Meyers, Jamie Myers and Kayla Bittner; long time friend, Lucy Lumas; life-long friend and army companion, Ronnie Johnson and his wife Evelyn.

Jeffrey will be remembered not only for his infectious spirit but also for the love he shared with his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
