Jeffrey Scott Brain, founder of social media website, CloutHub, passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 64 as a result of a stroke. Jeffrey was born in Manhasset, New York on May 26, 1959, to Jesse Brain and Evelyn Marie Brain, the fifth of seven siblings.
Jeffrey graduated in 1981 from California State University, Northridge with a BA in Business Administration. He went on to form the Jeff Brain Real Estate Network and always enjoyed exploring new business ventures and opportunities throughout his career. Jeff achieved many business and civic accomplishments in his lifetime, high among them the founding of the annual Sherman Oaks Street Fair, now in its thirty-first year. Jeffrey's interest in politics and the power of social media ultimately led Jeffrey to found CloutHub, Inc. in 2018, in which he hoped to give voice to the political and social issues of today. "It doesn't have to be like this" was his slogan when he ran for 5th Council District. He leaves a legacy that represents his ambition, drive, and tenacity to follow his own path. Jeffrey will always be remembered as an individual who hoped to make the world a better place.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Katherine Brain, along with his siblings, and his children, Jason Brain, Kelsey White, Jessica Brain, David Brain, and his three grandchildren, Olivia, Jade, and Loren.
