Jeffrey Allen Brochard

Jeffrey Allen Brochard, Sr., 58, of Vancleave, Mississippi, passed away on February 16, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

Born on April 11, 1967, Jeffrey was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose strength, steady presence, and unwavering love for his family defined his life.

Jeffrey dedicated 25 years of service to Ingalls Shipbuilding as a paint foreman, where he earned the respect of coworkers through his strong work ethic and leadership. In addition to his career at Ingalls, he proudly owned and operated Brochard Metal Works for over 35 years, building not only a successful business but lasting relationships within his community.

He found his greatest joy in time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Jeffrey loved fishing, being out on the river, and cruising the coast. He enjoyed boiling crawfish and grilling in his outdoor kitchen, and going to Rouses on daily outings with Rory. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. Whether working, relaxing on the water, or gathered around a table with loved ones, Jeffrey cherished the simple moments that brought people together.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Nona Brochard (Langlinais); his children, Jeffrey Brochard (Amber) and Chelsea Brochard Mallette (Austin); and his treasured grandchildren, Bryleigh Brochard, Kooper Mallette, Oaklynn Mallette, Nash Mallette, Delaneigh Brochard, Brooklyn Moore, Tripp Brochard, and Huk Brochard.

He is also survived by his parents, Carl and Mary Brochard; his siblings, Glen Brochard, Jimmy Brochard (Debbie), and Donna Balius (Eddie); along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Those who knew Jeffrey will remember his dedication, strength, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the memories shared by those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in calm waters and eternal peace.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12:00pm - 1:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville. Services will begin immediately following at 1:00pm. Interment will be held at Bosarge Cemetery.
