Jeffrey Dingler

The funeral service for Mr. Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Dingler, 60, of Anniston, Alabama, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at K. L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs, with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Dingler passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at UAB/St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Summers.
Jeff was born on December 25, 1964. He attended Anniston High School, Class of 1983, graduated from Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Human Resource Management, and was a member of the ATO Fraternity.
Jeff started his career in healthcare at Inner Harbor Psychiatric Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. He transitioned into the field of wound care, and helped create and open the Center for Wound Care at Stringfellow Hospital. He was most recently employed as the Program Director at UAB/St. Vincent's Wound Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Dingler; his sons, Sam Dingler and Jack Dingler; his mother, Dianne Dingler Summers; his granddaughter, Amelia Bean; his sisters, Tammy D. Salem (Foch) and Wendy D. O'Steen; his nieces, Kathryn Salem and Sarah Watson; and his nephews, Will O'Steen, Walker O'Steen, Alex Jackson (Allison), and Drew Jackson (Alyssa).
Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Dingler, Jack Dingler, Will O'Steen, Walker O'Steen, Doug Huie, and Bill Wakefield.
