Jeffrey S Lax

Jeffrey S. Lax age 61, of Lancaster, died March 10th, 2023, at his residence. He was born on Nov. 23, 1961, in Lancaster. He was a 1980 graduate of Lancaster High School. Jeff was a truck driver who enjoyed watching OSU, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved working on and fixing fast cars and enjoyed taking his 1968 Chevelle up to National Trails. Jeff's amazing personality and love for life will be greatly missed by his numerous friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Lax; siblings, Teressa (Bryan) Brown, James (Tammy) Lax, and Joe Lax; cousins; and several close friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, who instilled in him his love for wrenching on cars, Leslie Lax; grandparents, Ernest and Lovella Lax and Daniel and Pauline Johnson.
A memorial service will take place at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14th, at 4PM. Family and friends may visit from 2PM until 4PM at the funeral home on Tuesday.
