Jeff Mitchell of Blackstone MA, age 61 - Passed on May 23, 2025
Jeff leaves behind his loving wife Joan, daughter Carlyn, sister Jennifer and her husband Rob. He deeply loved his Uncle Jon and Susan Mitchell, and cousins Heather Shimp husband Todd and children. Jon Adam Mitchell and wife Jenna and children. He had some cousins in Massachusetts and in other states and loved them all. He has many nieces and nephews - Laura, Sarah, Bryan, Trevor, Matthew and Kyle and their husbands or wife's and grand nieces and nephews. He was very close with brother and sister in-law Charlie, Patty and Christina. He had many childhood friends that he grew up Danny and Kenny and reconnected with many other on Facebook. Jeff really liked his neighbors and nicknamed his neighborhood 'Pleasantville'.
He was an electronic test engineer and graduated from Wentworth with a BS degree. His passion was always his music though. He played guitar, sang and wrote his own songs. He was in multiple bands through his younger years. He also attended schools for sound engineering. His current position was at Hayward Holdings LLC. He had a wonderful boss and coworkers for many years of employment. He really liked all the people he worked with and it was a nice place to be with an ocean view from his desk. He was also a seasoned traveler and could have been a New York cab driver with his excellent driving skills of getting you to your destination with a few more grey hairs. He was a foodie and loved his Sam Adams beer.
Jeff fought a good fight and was very ill for a long time but, never gave up trying to enjoy life's simple pleasures. He was taken care of by his wife with love, care, respect and compassion until the lord took his hand and walked him up the stairway to heaven to join his late brother Jimmy and good friend Kenny plus all the other loved ones. He will be sorely missed by his wife, daughter and all the loved ones that knew him and his very funny witting, quirky sense of humor and joking, playful nature that made us all laugh with him.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 1 to 2pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM at the Funeral Home.
