Jeffrey Glen Nazer, 60, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2025, while on a motorcycle trip - doing something he loved. His passing came just before two of life's greatest milestones, which he was especially looking forward to: the marriage of his son in September and the birth of his daughter's first child in November. Though we are deeply saddened that he left us before more memories could be made, we are endlessly grateful for the ones we shared, and we will hold them close in our hearts forever.
Jeff was born on September 18, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was raised by loving and supportive parents, Laverne and Glen Nazer, and grew up with his sister and two brothers in Nampa, Idaho.
He graduated from Vallivue High School in 1982, attended Boise State University (where he was named Boise State Wrestling Champion), and later earned a degree in economics from the University of Utah.
Jeff married Jennifer Hellberg in 1993, and together they had two wonderful children, Mitch and Megan, who were the pride and joy of his life. After their divorce, he later moved to Montana and eventually settled in Boise, Idaho.
Snowboarding, hiking, golfing, and riding his Harley-Davidson were just a few of his many passions.
With dry wit and quiet sarcasm, he had a way of making people laugh - sometimes without even trying. His ability to help others laugh at themselves (and with him) was one of his most memorable qualities. Jeff was a dreamer - full of ideas and always talking about what he would do or where he'd go next. His life was filled with adventure, curiosity, and color. He will be deeply missed by those who loved and adored him.
Jeff is survived by his children, Mitch Nazer (Allie) and Megan Nazer Bagley (Braydon); siblings, Abbi Brown (Troy) and Ryan Nazer; his nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.
