Jeffrey Popick Obituary
Jeffrey L. Popick passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born in Canton, Ohio on April 20, 1947, to the late Joseph and Mary Ellen (Johanning) Popick. He remained a life resident of the Canton community.
Jeff was employed as a crane operator and retired from PSC Metals. He was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic church. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband to his wife Kathleen, who he married on January 22, 1971.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Kathleen (Laskey) who passed on June 15, 2024.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Nicole Popick and Kristen (Wayne) Knepper; grandchildren; Alexandria (Andy) Fleming, Taylor Knepper, Katelyn Knepper and Tacyanna Popick, great grandchildren; Luca and Emmie.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Church, 1530 11th Street SE, Canton Ohio 44707, with Fr. Fritz Schlueter officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the church (10:00 – 11:00 am). Jeff will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave S. Canton, Ohio 44707. Friends and family may share condolences and memories.
