Timothy Andrew Popick, also known as Tim, passed away on March 30, 2024. He was born in Canton, Ohio on October 11, 1946 to the late John and Helen Ferenze Popick. Tim was a United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He loved his country and took pride in his service. Tim married the love of his life, Kathie, on March 16, 1984, and together shared four beautiful children. He also worked for the Paulding County Department of Transportation for 20 years. In his free time, Tim loved going to the New Hope Publix and hanging out. He knew all the workers and they enjoyed his company. His favorite thing to do was to be with his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tim was a huge Yankees fan and loved watching the games with family or friends. Tim was very loved and he will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his three siblings.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kathie Popick; four children, Joe Popick of Canton, Ohio, Trina (Craig) Wheeler, of Dallas, Georgia; Veronica (Andy) Martin, of Greenville, South Carolina; Cindy Halter of Hiram, Georgia; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, David (Miriam) Popick, of Canton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim's wishes were to be cremated and there are no services at this time.
