Jeffrey Allen Preston Sr. died unexpectedly at home in Duluth on December 23, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born November 16, 1956 to David Sr. and Marilyn (Peterson) Preston.
Jeff joined the United States Navy at a young age. He owned an operated Ace Appliance in Duluth's West End for many years. Jeff could fix just about anything. He loved fishing and spending time with his favorite pup Sassy.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: David and Marilyn; brothers David Preston Jr. and Mike Preston and his sister Cindy LeBlanc.
Jeff is survived by his children, Holly (Max) Udovich, Jeffrey Preston Jr., Dale (Jamie) Preston, Alyssa (Josh) Preston, Derek (Asia) Preston, Zachary (Paige) Hathaway; grandchildren, Alyssa, Ariana, Nicholas, Blake, Hailey, Heidi, Zander, Ariya, Arianna, Easton, Acelynn, Maverick, Kinsley, Avery and Braxton; great grandchildren, Tessa, Stella, Aubree, Brixton, Brynlee and Presley; siblings, Scott (Sue) Preston, Gary (Sissy) Preston, Keith (Wendy) Preston, his girlfriend, Kerrie Wittkop; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 starting with Military Honors at 1:00 pm at Bergey's Bar, 2232 West Superior Street in Duluth. The Cremation Society of Minnesota Duluth assisted the family with arrangements.
