Jeffrey Alan Reeves, 71 of Cambridge, Iowa passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Arbor Springs in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Jeffery was born on September 21, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Gerald Robert and Rose Marie (Van Hook) Reeves. He graduated from Maxwell High School in 1972. Jeffery then went on to graduate from Des Moines Area Community College with his Associates of Arts degree.
Jeffrey was a farmer until he handed the reigns over to his two sons. He loved hunting with his dogs. He belonged to a club for sporting clays. Fishing was another love of his that he shared with his two sons, often going to Canada. Jeffrey was also an avid woodworker specializing in custom gun stocks.
Jeffrey is survived by his two sons, Curtis Alan Reeves and Benton Robert Reeves both of Cambridge; his brother Gerald Reeves of Nevada; two sisters Mari (Peter) Kooi and Sharon (David) Tolleson both of Santa Fe New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry Reeves and a sister in-law Mary Ellen Reeves.
Jeffrey has been cremated and services will be at a later date.
