Jeffrey "Scott" Rockwell, 62, of Holden MO, passed away unexpectedly Saturday February 22, 2025, at his home.
Scott was born on Aug 4, 1962 in Kansas City MO, the son of Edgar Francis Rockwell and Judith Kaye (Johnson) Rockwell. He was the third, and last, blessing to this union.
Scott graduated from Holden High School in 1980. He was a carpenter by trade and took pride in his craftsmanship, no matter the project. While he moved away from Holden for a time in his adult years, Holden was always home for him.
Scott enjoyed the simple things in life and found great enjoyment and fulfillment in fishing, hunting, and carpentry. His smile was never greater than when he was spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Hawkeye. While a quiet man, he made a loud impact in all he did.
Those left to remember him include his daughter: Brittany Rockwell (Jordan Murphy) of Norton KS; son: Zackary Rockwell (Megan) of Latour MO; mother: Judy Rockwell of Holden MO; sister: Debbie Briscoe (Steve) of Holden MO; brother: Eddie Rockwell (Penni) of Oak Grove MO; grandsons: Owen Hopkins; Easton Rockwell; granddaughter: Riverlynn Rockwell; along with several nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled at a later date.
