Jeffrey David Rosser, 51, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Evart, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, September 23, 2024. He was born in Reed City, Michigan on July 25, 1973, to Eric and Sherry (Sherman) Rosser. He was raised in Evart, where he graduated from High School in 1991. Jeff went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Ferris State University in 1994, and moved to Grand Rapids where he worked for Haworth. His dedication to professionalism and innovative way of thinking paved the way for his success when he transferred to Bissell in the late 90's.
You could often find Jeff watching his favorite show, Law & Order SVU, or cheering on his favorite team, the Michigan Wolverines. He was very active and enjoyed being outdoors, some of his favorite activities included golfing, hiking and playing tennis. He was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to football, which often led to friendly banter between family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, was very quick witted, and fluent in friendly sarcasm.
Jeff loved his family more than anything. The Sunday get togethers at his house, holiday celebrations and family gatherings were very special to him and held memories he treasured. Left with a tremendous void in their hearts are: his mother, Sherry (Don) Thompson of Evart; two children, Acacia (fiancé, Luke Rykse) Martin of Kentwood and Ethan Rosser of Fort Collins, Colorado; stepbrother, Joseph Thompson and two stepsisters, Sheila (Craig) Brooks and Rebeca Thompson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers as they manage this devastating loss.
Jeff is now reunited with: his father, Eric Rosser; sister, Angela Renee Rosser; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Carol Sherman; and paternal grandparents, Stuart and Betty Rosser.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2:00pm at the Corey Funeral Home, Evart, Michigan, with Pastor Mark Bullock officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from Noon to 2pm.
