Jeffrey E. Shaffer

Jeffrey E. Shaffer, 52, of Gilpin Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Born August 12, 1973 in New Kensington, he was a son of H. Dan Shaffer of Allegheny Township and the late Adrian C. (Kunkle) Shaffer.
Jeff was a 1992 graduate of Kiski Area High School, and worked as a EMT for Lower Kiski EMS, as a captain and fireman with the Markle Fire Department, as a notary with A-Notary in Leechburg, and in the Finance Department at the C. Harper Chevrolet East in New Alexandria.
He was a member of the Vandergrift American Legion Post 114 in Vandergrift, and was the assistant director of the Legion Riders, helping to organize many of their events. He was also a member of the former Eagles Lodge in Apollo.
Jeff loved riding his Harley trike, and going hunting. Family was of utmost importance.
In addition to his father, Jeff is survived by his brothers, Kevin D. Shaffer of Allegheny Township, Russel L. "Rusty" Shaffer of Allegheny Township; nephew & nieces, Ryan & Anna Shaffer; and many friends all over the area.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 300 Market St., Leechburg. A Celebration Of Life Tribute Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Please join the family as they honor Jeff's life. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
