Jeffrey S. Stickles, 56, of West Winfield, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Upstate Medical University with his loving family by his side.
He was born on March 11, 1967 in Cooperstown, NY, a son of the late George and Lynne (Watkins) Stickles and graduated from Richfield Springs High School. Jeff was united in marriage to Diane B. Rowe in the West Winfield Town Park and shared a blessed union of 29 years filled with mutual love and devotion. He was employed as a foreman with Titan Homes in Sangerfield for 30 years.
Jeff was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and devoted much of his free time to his beloved grandchildren. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, boating and just sharing a beer with friends on Oneida Lake. He had a passion for snowmobiles and made many friends and memories camping at his favorite spot, TA-GA-SOKE Campgrounds in Blossvale, NY.
Surviving are his wife, Diane, West Winfield; daughter, Natasha LeFever, New Hartford; sons, Matthew Stickles, West Winfield and Keith Moss, West Winfield; grandchildren, Bryn, Finley, Jayde, Beau and Navy; sisters, Brenda (Patrick) Blakeslee, Muscle Shoals, AL and Mary Stickles, Columbia Center; brother, Chuck (Terra) Stickles, West Winfield; several nieces and nephews and his family at TA-GA-SOKE Campgrounds. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Ben.
Jeff's family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Atul Butala and the Chemotherapy Nurses with Faxton-St. Luke's Cancer Center for all their wonderful care and compassion.
In keeping with Jeff's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 2-6 pm at Scenic View, 386 Truax Rd., West Winfield.
