Jeff had such compassion for any and all who needed support, wisdom for those who sought guidance, outrageous humor for those who needed to take him or herself less seriously,. He would offer spontaneous song from his soul to lift your spirits, and he was filled with love and a thirst for justice.. God loves you eternally, and we love you, Jeff, and always will. And we offer our condolences to your entire family. We will mourn our loss while also celebrating Jeff's life. Sincerely, from the Reverend Canon M. E. M, a member of the PSU Six Pack and, attempting to express the thoughts and feelings of the other members.

Pastor Jeff was our interim pastor at Ascension Lutheran Church. I liked him so much and was hoping he could stay as our permanent pastor. I remember his first service. He introduced himself and said, " I know what you are all thinking-man, is he tall!" I will never forget that, and his ministry at Ascension. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I knew Jeff when I was in Philadelphia for a year, in 2008. He was such a lovely person - insightful, caring, wonderful. My heart is sad that he is gone. Condolences to his family.
