Jennie Elizabeth Poore, 65, of Plantation passed away on May 14th, 2024. She was born in Fayetteville, NC before moving to the Fort Lauderdale area. Jennie enjoyed spending her summers with her cousin at her “granny and papa’s” home. She used to enjoy helping out at Lonnie (papa) Spell’s Store.
She graduated from South Plantation High School in 1976, the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1979, and received her juris doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1983.
Her loving parents Jennie S. Poore and Raymond F. Poore preceded her in death. She is survived by her Aunt, Mary S. Parson, and cousins Willam C. Parson and Mary Parson Fleury. The loving care of her dear friends Marcia Beckford, Dawn Birdsall, Jimmy and Becky Snyder, and countless others enabled her to be able to continue to work and stay in her home throughout her illness.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 18th from 2:00 PM until the service time. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4th St, Plantation.
