Jennifer Kirk Dapp, age 58, of Elkin, passed away on February 6, 2025, at her home. Jennifer was born February 20, 1966, in Surry County to Delbert and Lucille Wilson Kirk. Jennifer was a member of Arlington First Baptist Church. 

With her warm and welcoming nature, Jennifer worked at Dr. Harrell's dentist office for many years. She had never met a stranger; she was a beautiful soul who loved to help others. Jennifer loved going shopping and cruising around in her convertible. She loved the beach, her dog, Bentley, and her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rocky Dapp; brother, David Kirk; niece, Melissa Renea Wishon; a brother-in-law, Gary Dalton; and all her grandparents.

Jennifer is survived by her sister, Carolyn Dalton, her special best friend, Roger Reece, three nieces, four great nephews, three great nieces, two great-great nephews, and two great-great nieces, all of whom she treated as her own, and stepmother Velma Pinnix Kirk.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 2pm in the Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friend two hours prior to the service from 12-2pm at Elkin Funeral Service.  A private inurnment will follow in the Arlington First Baptist Church Cemetery.
