Jennifer Mimma Jones, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on January 11, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born on July 4, 1968, in Brooklyn, NY, Jennifer was a firecracker who brought light and warmth to everyone around her. She grew up and spent most of her time in New Jersey, before relocating to South Carolina and eventually settling in Denver, North Carolina, where she created a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Jennifer was the beloved wife of Peter Jones, with whom she shared a beautiful life full of love, laughter, and partnership. She was the proud and loving mother of her daughter, Jennifer Panepinto, son-in-law, Kyle Panepinto; daughter, Brittany Jones, and her boyfriend, Skylar Ghent. Jennifer’s granddaughter, Abigail Panepinto, and grandson, Joseph Panepinto were the center of her world, and her unwavering love and support will continue to be felt by them always.

She is also survived by her dear mother, Jill Romeo; her sister, Daniela Tamburo, and brother-in-law, Salvatore Tamburo. Jennifer was cherished by her extended family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were like family. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who she now joins in eternal peace.

Jennifer loved trips to the mountains and camping adventures with her husband, shopping and lunch dates with her daughters, playtime with her grandchildren, and sharing meaningful moments with her family, who meant everything to her. She also enjoyed gardening and making her house look beautiful, always finding joy in nurturing her plants and creating a warm and inviting home.

Jennifer’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends will forever be remembered. She lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who knew her. While her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC, with visitation for family and friends from 1:00–4:00 p.m. and a memorial service immediately following at 4:00 p.m.
