Jennifer Rachel Moore, 41 of Harriman passed away July 19th in her home from a heart attack due to complications from open heart surgery. She is survived by her daughter, Mattea Nevaeh 14, stepdaughter Debbie Collins, stepson Eric Lee Moore jr., her father, James Fisher of Knoxville, her brother Stephen (Kristina) Fisher of Oak Ridge. Brother and sister in laws, Lenora and Jeff Herndon, Ann and Jagade (Gator) Burns, and Porticha Gunn. Many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Moore and her mother Mary Neal.
Jennifer was born on January 13th,1984 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was married to Eric Moore, also of Harriman in 2005. A 2002 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, she started her career in management at Long John Silvers at the young age of 18. Eventually, transitioning into an office manager of a private duty nursing facility. She was diagnosed with a career ending blood clot disorder forcing her on disability the last few years of her life.
Her daughter was her everything. She nurtured and developed Mattea into the well rounded teenager she has become. She leaves us with a precious young lady and a fine human being.
Jennifer had a zest for life. She loved family vacations in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She loved watching Mattea's track meets. She enjoyed swimming and watching movies. She had a passion for family events and getting together for dinner with her father.
She lit up a room and made everyone she met feel special and loved. Jennifer (Bug), will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Her loving soul is dancing in heaven with those that went before. Rest in peace my baby bug.
The family is holding a memorial service July 26th, at 1:00pm in Weatherfords Mortuary in Oak Ridge.
