Jennifer "Jenny" Lee Riley
November 2, 1972 – September 1, 2025
Jennifer "Jenny" Lee Riley, 52, of Hubert, North Carolina, passed away on September 1, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on November 2, 1972, Jenny grew up to be the bright, funny, and strong-willed woman everyone knew and loved.
Jenny was a graduate of White Oak High School and continued her education at Coastal Carolina Community College. She worked at Monster's Pizza, where she not only made pizzas but made friends who quickly became family.
Jenny had a heart for animals-especially cats. In fact, she had more than a few, and she made sure each one was spoiled with love and attention. When she wasn't caring for her pets, she could usually be found at the beach, digging in her garden, or dragging loved ones along on little random adventures.
She was beautiful, lighthearted, and full of laughter-until you made her mad. Then, in true Jenny fashion, she'd let you know exactly how she felt. Her brother Billy knew this best, as the two were always bickering like siblings do. But beneath the back-and-forth was a deep closeness and love that never wavered.
Jenny is survived by her three brothers, Billy, Mark, and Mike; her nieces, Hannah and Kathleen, whom she adored; and countless friends, coworkers, and family members who will miss her bright smile, silly personality, and big heart.
She was the kind of person who could make you laugh until your stomach hurt, who loved deeply, and who left behind more memories than can ever be counted.
A private celebration of Jennys life will be held at a later time. In her honor, the family encourages everyone to do something she loved-spend a day at the beach, plant a flower, or give an extra snuggle to a cat.
Jenny will be deeply missed, but she will live on through the love and laughter she gave so freely.
