Jennifer Diane Shoemaker

Jennifer Diane Shoemaker, 62, of S. Church Street, Keyser, WV, died Friday, July 26, 2024 at her residence.
Born on July 18, 1962 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Juanita (Blackburn) McCarty. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry McCarty and Ronald Hines.
Mrs. Shoemaker was formerly employed with the Mineral County Aging and Family Services as an in home care provider. She was a talented cook and baker and loved flower gardening. She also enjoyed playing Candy Crush and her grandchildren were the lights of her life.
Surviving is her husband, Theodore G. "Ted" Shoemaker, Jr.; her children, Amanda Paugh of New Creek, WV, Kayla Wolfe of Fountain, WV, Daniel Layton of Keyser and Trenton Layton of Keyser; 11 grandchildren, Christian, Bailey, J.J., Riley, Dakota, James, Keagan, Lilliana, Hailey, Daniel, II and Dylan and two great grandchildren, Ya'niylah and Harper. Also surviving is her sister, Edna "Bubbles" Kuhn of Fairfax, VA.
Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. All friends and family are invited to attend and share stories and personal memories of Jennifer.
