JENNIFER SILVEY
Jennifer Lynn Silvey, age 33, of Versailles, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at her home. She was born October 28, 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Michael Shawn Roberts and Melody Ann (Overley) Speer.
On September 27, 2014 in Versailles, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Robert Lester Silvey. He precedes her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors include her father, Michael Roberts of Branson, Missouri; her mother, Melody Speer and husband Eric of Oak Grove, Missouri; a step-son, Bobby Silvey, Jr. of Harrisonville, Missouri; her siblings, Kristeina Roberts and fiancé Ron Crisler of Belton, Missouri, Michael Shawn Roberts, Jr. of Harrisonville, Missouri and Jessie Aaron Roberts of Oak Grove, Missouri; a mother-in-law, Nancy Sink of Versailles, Missouri; a step-grandmother, Connie Lockart of Lenexa, Kansas; aunts, uncles cousins and many friends.
Jennifer was a graduate of Center High School in Kansas City. She moved to Versailles, Missouri thirteen years ago where she worked for Walmart for over ten years. She was currently employed by Quaker Windows of Eldon, Missouri.
Jennifer was a member of Lakeside Community Church of Gravois Mills where she enjoyed attending church and the Tuesday night Bible study. She has a pure, good-hearted loving person who would do anything for anyone. Her hobbies included taking walks, hunting mushrooms, shopping, her dogs, thrift stores and swimming. Most of all, spending time with her family brought her joy.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles with Pastor Landon "Cap" Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Chapman Cemetery, Versailles. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
