Jenny Dickerson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin's Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Granbury on Jan. 15, 2026.
Jenny Dickerson, age 58, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a story of strength, redemption, and a heart that never stopped loving.

Jenny was full of life - her smile could light up a room, and her laughter made everyone feel at home. She had a way of welcoming people just as they were, turning strangers into friends and friends into family. Her love was generous, genuine, and given freely.

In the last six years of her life, Jenny found peace, purpose, and healing. She worked hard to rebuild, to grow, and to become the woman she was always meant to be. Those years were filled with love, pride, and deep devotion to her family. They were some of her happiest.

Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of her family and loved them with her whole heart - celebrating every milestone, offering endless support, and always being there when she was needed most.

Jenny leaves behind a family who adored her and a circle of friends who were blessed by her kindness and joy. While we grieve deeply, we are comforted knowing that she lived her final years surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who meant the most to her.

A celebration of Jenny's life will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Martin's Funeral Home. Visitation 12pm prior to the service. Burial at Long Creek Cemetery. We will gather to honor a woman whose legacy is not defined by where she started, but by how beautifully she grew.

Jenny's love lives on in every heart she touched.

Jenny is survived by her children Ashley Gomez and Cody Dickerson. Her grandchildren Maci, Eli and Ezekiel Gomez. Her siblings Frank Liebel, Curtis Lovejoy Jr, Jamie Davis, Ashley Norton and Chasity Clark. Her parents Curtis Lovejoy Sr and Connie Lovejoy. And a large, loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Linda Lovejoy, grandparents Junior and Virginia Lovejoy, and Earl and Frances Lowder.
