Jeremiah Vinson Kirkland, age 69, of Southside, passed away on August 19, 2025.

Jeremiah was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family above all else. He had a passion for riding big bikes and spending time outdoors. A hardworking man with many talents, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and gardening, and he always found joy in creating and working with his hands.

He is survived by his loving wife, Wassana Kirkland; daughter, Kari (Chad) Young; grandson, Nathan (Sydney) Young; and siblings, Larry (Genise) Kirkland and Kenneth (Cindy) Kirkland. He is also survived by sister Linda (Leland) Minyard.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by his parents, J.V. and Ila Mae Kirkland; brother, Brent Kirkland; and grandson, Seth Kirkland Young.

Jeremiah has been my great friend for a long time, since we were young kids/- we worked for a long while for Jeremiah and Kenneth´s wonderful father, a pastor,truly devoted Christian, and a hero in the armed forces,Their whole family loved the lord an STILL DO. The family´had 5 siblings-Linda, Larry,Brent, Kenneth, and Jeremiah......ALL WONDERFUL DEVOTED CHRISTIANS
